Most breast cancer genomes have a complex mutation landscape. Somatic alterations have been found mainly in breast cancer patients of European ancestry ; In the current study , full exome sequencing (WES) was conducted from tumors extracted from and matched to adjacent normal tissue samples from 11 early onset breast cancer patients included in the Shanghai breast cancer study. We found 159 somatic missense and 10 ridiculous mutations distributed in 167 genes. The most frequent 50 somatic mutations identified by Wes were selected for verification using the sequinoma array system in 11 breast cancer patients, and an additional 433 tumors and 921 normal tissue/blood samples were taken from the Shanghai Breast Cancer Study.
